How we handle your information.

Salon Bliss ("we," "us," or "our") is a hair salon at 1202 Woodward Ave, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site or sending us a message, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you send us a message, we ask for your name and phone number. You can also add your email, what you are looking for, how you prefer to be reached, and a message. We also keep a record of which text-message permission boxes you check.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the page that sent you to us, and the date and time. Cookies and similar tools do this (see "Cookies, ads, and analytics" below).

Information from ads. If you reach us from one of our ads, the advertising company may tell us which ad you clicked.

Hair quiz. The hair quiz runs in your browser. We do not collect or save your answers.

How we use your information

  • To answer your messages and set up appointments.
  • To contact you the way you asked: call, text, or email.
  • To send texts or emails about specials, reminders, and news, but only if you agreed to receive them.
  • To keep the website working and protect it from spam and misuse.

Text messages and email

If you check a box to receive messages, you agree that Salon Bliss may text you at the number you gave us. There are two kinds: messages about your request or appointment, and marketing messages such as specials and news. Agreeing to marketing messages is not required to book an appointment or buy anything from us.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop getting texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Cookies, ads, and analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools from our website platform and from advertising companies, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (including Google Ads). They help us count visits, measure our ads, and show our ads to people who have visited our site. These companies may collect information about your visit and use it under their own privacy policies.

  • A new owner, if the salon is ever sold or changes hands.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that could identify you.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we choose service providers who do the same. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your choices

  • You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • You can stop texts by replying STOP, and stop emails with the unsubscribe link.
  • Some state laws give you more rights. We will honor your requests as the law requires, and we may need to confirm who you are first.

Children

This website is for adults. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to other sites, such as our Facebook page and Google Maps. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If we make big changes, we will say so on this page.
